Tanım ve Kullanım
<textarea>etiketi, çok satırlı bir metin giriş kontrolünü tanımlar .
<textarea>Öğe genellikle yorumlar veya incelemeler gibi kullanıcı girdilerini toplamak için bir formda kullanılır .
Bir metin alanı sınırsız sayıda karakter içerebilir ve metin sabit genişlikli bir yazı tipinde (genellikle Courier) işlenir.
Bir metin alanının boyutu <cols>ve <rows>nitelikleri (veya CSS ile) ile belirlenir.
Nitelik, form gönderildikten sonra form verilerine başvurmak için gereklidir ( özniteliği nameatlarsanız
