Kayıt Kümesi Nesnesi
ADO Recordset nesnesi, bir veritabanı tablosundan bir dizi kaydı tutmak için kullanılır. Bir Recordset nesnesi, kayıtlardan ve sütunlardan (alanlardan) oluşur.
ADO'da bu nesne en önemlisidir ve bir veritabanındaki verileri işlemek için en sık kullanılan nesnedir.

Bir Kayıt Kümesini ilk açtığınızda, geçerli kayıt işaretçisi ilk kaydı işaret eder ve BOF ve EOF özellikleri False olur. Kayıt yoksa, BOF ve EOF özelliği True'dur.
Kayıt kümesi nesneleri iki tür güncellemeyi destekleyebilir:
- Anında güncelleme - Güncelleme yöntemini çağırdığınızda tüm değişiklikler hemen veritabanına yazılır.
- Toplu güncelleme - sağlayıcı birden çok değişikliği önbelleğe alır ve ardından bunları UpdateBatch yöntemiyle veritabanına gönderir.
ADO'da tanımlanmış 4 farklı imleç türü vardır:
- Dinamik imleç - Diğer kullanıcılar tarafından yapılan eklemeleri, değişiklikleri ve silmeleri görmenizi sağlar.
- Tuş takımı imleci - Diğer kullanıcılar tarafından yapılan eklemeleri görememeniz ve diğer kullanıcıların silmiş olduğu kayıtlara erişimi engellemesi dışında dinamik bir imleç gibidir. Diğer kullanıcılar tarafından yapılan veri değişiklikleri görünmeye devam edecek.
- Statik imleç - Verileri bulmak veya raporlar oluşturmak için kullanmanız için bir kayıt kümesinin statik bir kopyasını sağlar. Diğer kullanıcılar tarafından yapılan eklemeler, değişiklikler veya silmeler görünmez. Bu, istemci tarafı Recordset nesnesini açtığınızda izin verilen tek imleç türüdür.
- Yalnızca ileri imleç - Kayıt Kümesi içinde yalnızca ileriye doğru kaydırmanıza izin verir. Diğer kullanıcılar tarafından yapılan eklemeler, değişiklikler veya silmeler görünmez.
İmleç türü, CursorType özelliği veya Open yöntemindeki CursorType parametresi tarafından ayarlanabilir.
Not: Tüm sağlayıcılar, Recordset nesnesinin tüm yöntemlerini veya özelliklerini desteklemez.
